Raji Devarajan
Raji Devarajan is a fellow researcher at the Public Health Foundation of India and the Centre for Chronic Disease Control. She has successfully coordinated large, multinational, multicentre trials such as surgical technique based trial on On vs. Off Pump, evidence based translation trial on Type 2 Diabetes Management and demonstration trial for patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome. Her work experience thus far has been focused on translating evidence based knowledge into public health practice by implementing innovative, low-cost, scalable interventions. Her work has exposed her to the global issues of childhood obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular diseases (CVD). She is trained in Biotechnology, Clinical Research and Epidemiology, and her research interests are in the areas of obesity, physical inactivity and Type 2 diabetes.
