Ali Tootee

Ali Tootee is a PhD student at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He is an M.D. who completed a Master’s Degree program in Medicine (Infection and Immunity) at the University of Sydney, Australia. Ali has worked in different clinical settings such as an Aboriginal Health Service complex in Australia and was involved in design and implementation of several health-promotion intervention programs. Since his arrival back to Iran, Ali’s academic career has been focused on research in the field of immunopatholgy of diabetes and obesity as well as development of novel interventions for prevention and management of them. Moreover, he has been proactively involved in different national-scale research projects and executive tasks in collaboration with renowned international organizations at the Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Institute of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.
