Scholarships

World Obesity is offering a limited number of scholarships to health professionals in low-and-middle income countries.

Successful candidates will receive free access to the Core Learning Path, our eight-module course containing the essential information on obesity management. By completing the Core Learning Path and a selection of our free supplementary modules, health professionals can apply for SCOPE Certification: the only internationally-recognised certification in obesity management.

To qualify, candidates must:

• Be a citizen or resident of a low-, lower-middle- or upper-middle- income country, as defined by the World Bank
• Be a healthcare professional treating patients living with obesity
• Have a SCOPE E-Learning account (registration is free)
• Agree to apply for SCOPE Certification within 12 months of receiving the scholarship

Applications must be submitted no later than 10 AM (GMT) on Friday, 25th November 2022. Places are limited and applying does not guarantee you will be awarded a scholarship.
