Join us for the inaugural session of the SCOPE Sessions webinar series, focusing on Women's Health and Obesity

This session is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the latest insights and strategies for managing obesity in young women, particularly those dealing with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) and infertility.

Our keynote speaker, Dr Sarah Price, will present two case studies for discussion:

  1. Management of a woman with obesity and sub-fertility who is planning spontaneous pregnancy
  2. Management of a women who continues to have obesity post bariatric surgery and is planning pregnancy with assisted reproduction

Speakers

The webinar will be chaired by Dr Ada Cuevas, Director of the Advanced Center for Metabolic Medicine and Nutrition (CAMMYN) in Santiago, Chile, and Chair of the World Obesity Clinical Care Committee. Dr Cuevas will be joined by keynote speaker, Dr Sarah Price, from Melbourne, Australia. Sarah is the current chair of the Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society (ADIPS).

Dr Price has clinical appointments as an adult endocrinologist and obstetric physician with Melbourne Health, Royal Women’s Hospital and Mercy Hospital for Women. She is also a clinical tutor with Melbourne Medical School. She has an honorary senior lecturer position with the University of Melbourne and is passionate about improving pregnancy outcomes for women living with metabolic disease.
