United World Against Diabetes (UWAD)

United World Against Diabetes (UWAD) is a non-profit organization, holding Special Consultative Status with United Nations and working against diabetes, obesity, and other Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). The mission of UWAD is the promotion of diabetes care, control, prevention, awareness, education, policies and scientific research studies. UWAD is also working to increase access to essential medicines at affordable prices, plant-based medicines for diabetes and other (NCDs), medicinal plant protection and conservation, and the impact of climate change effect on human health. We are advocates for Type1 diabetic children and women living with diabetes.
