Korean Society for the Study of Obesity (KSSO)
The Korean Society for the Study of Obesity (KSSO) is an advanced professional society aiming for improved study and academic approaches to obesity in Korea. KSSO's academic achievements have been numerous, supported by marvellous researchers over the past years and the Society warmly welcomes all physicians and experts who are willing to address obesity.
Obesity is no longer considered a physical trait or a symptom but a disease in itself. KSSO aims to raise the awareness of the importance of recognition, treatment, and prevention of obesity.
Significantly, KSSO organises the International Congress on Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome (ICOMES).
