About Health Care Association of Nepal (HCAN)

Established in 2023, HCAN was founded with the vision of establishing a healthcare system in Nepal that is not only sustainable but also ensures equity for all. The team is comprised of dedicated medical professionals driven by a shared passion to effect positive change in healthcare delivery, medical education, and public health throughout Nepal.

These areas include the development of medical education, the promotion of health equity, empowerment of women, support for child education, environmental sanitation, fostering youth leadership, poverty eradication, and the pursuit of sustainable energy development.

HCAN is committed to fostering a healthier society through youth-led initiatives focused on NCD prevention and obesity awareness. As a young organisation HCAN's finances are still developing and do not collect membership fees. All awareness activities are conducted on a volunteer basis and projects are carried out with minimal resources.

HCAN joins as an Associate Member.
