World Obesity policy team attends Salzburg Global Seminar on childhood obesity
In December 2019, World Obesity policy staff Margot Neveux and Rachel Thompson participated in a four day Global Seminar: Halting the Childhood Obesity Epidemic: Identifying Decisive Interventions in Complex Systems.
This event brought together academics, journalists, practitioners and community activists in a unique historical setting to discuss how global innovations and ideas in the childhood obesity prevention space could help optimize health outcomes for children everywhere. Working groups on different themes were created, which will be generating exciting new initiatives around childhood obesity in 2020.
