The Obesity Society of Nigeria (TOSN) in the media on World Obesity Day
The Obesity Society of Nigeria (TOSN) carried out a number of significant media appearances as part of its World Obesity Day 2023 campaign, with contributions from its professionals on the need to #ChangePerspectives on obesity and tackling increasing childhood obesity incidence rates.
Members in Port Harcourt contributed to discussions on state radio channels, increasing awareness of the issues surrounding obesity in Nigeria and beyond.
Dr Agbo Urudinachi, President of TOSN, commented:
"We truly need to change our perspective on obesity and curb the menace of childhood obesity."
