The Brazilian Obesity Panel and Instituto Cordial host a World Obesity Day online event

The Brazilian Obesity Panel and Instituto Cordial hosted a World Obesity Day online event focussing on this year's theme of 'Changing Perspectives: Let's Talk About Obesity'.

Instituto Cordial, as an Associate Member of World Obesity, is a key partner in Brazil, and for this event organised a selection of international and national speakers, including: Boyd Swinburn, Professor of Population Nutrition and Global Health at the University of Auckland; Aline Pezzo, nutritionist and, crucially, the perspectives of lived experience representatives, Gabriella Villar and Glenda Cardoso.

The event was moderated by Doralice Ramos and introduced by Luis Fernando Meyer, both of Instituto Cordial.
