New vacancies: Editors-in-Chief of Obesity Reviews and Clinical Obesity

NewsNew vacancies: Editors-in-Chief of Obesity Reviews and Clinical Obesity

World Obesity is recruiting new Editors-in-Chief for two of its esteemed academic journals: Clinical Obesity and Obesity Reviews.

Clinical Obesity is World Obesity’s official clinical journal, publishing high-quality translational and clinical research papers and reviews focussing on obesity and its co-morbidities. Established in 2011, the title has grown significantly since its inception as obesity treatment in clinical settings continues to grow and diversify globally. The new Editor-in-Chief will play a vital role in expanding the reach and impact of this growing journal at a time of accelerating need for knowledge exchange about obesity in the clinical setting.

Obesity Reviews, the highest-ranked obesity journal by Impact Factor (ISI Journal Citation Reports), is World Obesity’s official reviews journal. The title publishes reviews on all disciplines related to obesity and its comorbidities, including basic and behavioural sciences, clinical treatment and outcomes, epidemiology, prevention, and public health. The new Editor-in-Chief will have a unique opportunity to further increase the influence of the top-rated obesity journal.

For both vacancies, preference will be offered to candidates who have wide expertise or interest in obesity and its related complications, a track record of reviewing academic papers, and genuine enthusiasm for enhancing the profile of the journal.

The Editors-in-Chief of both journals will receive an annual honorarium.
