New SCOPE module on bariatric surgery now available!

A brand-new SCOPE E-Learning module providing an essential summary of surgical and endoscopic interventions for obesity is now available to access.

Authored by Prof Mohammed Al Naami, Professor of Surgery and Medical Education at King Saud University, UAE, the module outlines the the criteria used to define whether surgical intervention is indicated, and considers the long-term outcomes of bariatric surgery, as well as the potential complications of surgical procedures and implications of weight regain. The module also provides guidance on the perioperative and long-term multidisciplinary care of the bariatric surgical patient.
