Kew Gardens 10K
On Saturday 14 September, we will be running the Kew Gardens 10K and fundraising to raise awareness and prevent further progress of the current childhood obesity epidemic. Want to support us? Click here!
The global prevalence of obesity has nearly tripled since 1975. In addition, in 2016, it was estimated that 41 million children under the age of 5 were living with overweight or obesity. Today, it is recognised as one of the most important public health problems the world is facing.
We are working with our members to halt the rise of obesity, fight vested interests and change the systems that are leading to the current epidemic. Our research shows that there are multiple drivers responsible for the obesity epidemic and require us to focus our efforts on social, economic and food systems transformations. Please support us and help us meet our ambitious goals by donating on our JustGiving campaign page.
