Dr Roselle Herring awarded SCOPE National Fellowship
Congratulations to Dr Roselle Herring, who has been awarded a SCOPE National Fellowship!
SCOPE National Fellowship
Based in the UK, Dr Herring is a Consultant Diabetes and Endocrinologist at Mid and South Essex NHS Trust, and the lead Endocrinologist for the Essex clinical obesity service.
Her research interest involves using metabolic isotope technology to study glucose and lipid metabolism.
She has published work on the hepato-selective insulin detemir and the mechanistic effect of SGLT2 inhibitors in type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
SCOPE Fellowship is the most prestigious award offered by SCOPE, recognising outstanding healthcare professionals in the field of obesity management.
National Fellows are experts of national or regional renown who have made a significant contribution to obesity medicine in their country.
