AGM 2020: World Obesity holds Annual Elections
On the 7th July 2020, World Obesity held it’s Annual General Meeting and held elections, as well as voted on changes to the constitution.
For the first time in its history, this AGM was held virtually in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Among other items, the primary objective of this years Annual General Meeting was to elect a new President-Elect and Treasurer, as well as welcome in the new President, Professor John WIlding (UK), following the tenure of Past-President Donna Ryan (USA).
