Philippa Griffiths

Philippa joined World Obesity in 2022. Currently, she works on the European focused Science and Technology in Childhood Obesity Policy (STOP) project.

Her role involves summarising the STOP project research and translating the knowledge to a format for a non-academic/specialist audience.

Prior to World Obesity, she worked in a variety of roles including education and estate management. Having a serious physical illness in her early 20’s, she has lived experience of health challenges.

Philippa has a BSc in Rural Land Management and a Master of Research in Agricultural Food Systems and Human Health from the land-based specialist, Harper Adams University.

Living in a rural area, when not at work, she can be found horse riding and dog walking. Otherwise, watching the breaking news channels!
