Luwaiza Mirza
Luwaiza is the Data and Policy Intern for the World Obesity Federation.
Luwaiza is a fourth year medical student at King's College London, and has completed a BSc in Management at Imperial College London, attaining a first class degree. She has led a research project looking into hyperbolic discounting as the cause of socioeconomic disparities in British adults; since then, she has been interested in finding out more about the causes of obesity and its consequent impacts. In particular, she is interested in its effects on mental health.
