Jaynaide Powis

Jaynaide works at World Obesity as the Head of Data and Evidence where she partners with researchers, World Obesity members and other stakeholders to generate, review and promote research and evidence on obesity.

With a degree in Biochemistry and a Masters in Public Health, Jaynaide has used her research skills in different settings, including clinical trials and the evaluation of public health programmes. Her key interests include non-communicable diseases, the social and commercial determinants of health, health inequalities and the health of marginalised and disadvantaged groups, and qualitative research.
