Dr Tim Lobstein

Tim Lobstein is a senior policy advisor to World Obesity, having retired as the organisation’s Director of Policy in 2020.

He is also an honorary senior research fellow at Imperial College London, and a visiting professor at the Boden Initiative, University of Sydney.

In 2020, Tim was the first recipient of the WPT James Award at the International Congress of Obesity, which recognised his outstanding contributions to obesity epidemiology and population medicine, including establishing the Global Obesity Observatory.
