Claudia (BSc, MPH) is an emerging public health professional and a youth advocate with 3 years of experience in global and public health. As a policy and projects coordinator at the World Obesity Federation, she supports dissemination, communication, and utilisation of outputs from 2 EU consortium childhood obesity projects (CO-CREATE & STOP).

Through her support for the Strategic Centre for Obesity Professional Education (SCOPE), she has convened events for physicians in LMICs to develop and or/enhanced obesity‐focused competencies when treating patients living with obesity.
She is passionate about health literacy and volunteers on community engagement initiatives during her free time. This includes the Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Cancer Awareness Roadshow which aims to elevate understanding of the risk factors and health changes associated with cancer. For the past two years, she has been a Core Team Member at Young Leaders for Health (YLH). Here she works with young people to elicit and bring their perspectives and skills into the strategic design and delivery of health and related programs and policies. Her key activities involved organizing the 3rd YLH Social Entrepreneurship Challenge on eHealth tackling Non-Communicable diseases & Air Quality (2019), and the YLH Webinar Series addressing COVID-19 & Mental Health (2020).
All of her experiences drive progress on global Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) targets and engage young people to transform health and sustainable development. She writes and speaks fluent professional in Turkish.
