Nominations for 2024 World Obesity President-Elect and Treasurer
We are accepting nominations for the positions of President-Elect and Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees in 2024.
The deadline for all submissions is Monday, 26 February 2024
The Nominations Committee has been formed and is accepting nominations for the positions of President-Elect and Treasurer.
As per the Articles of Association, these two roles are the only two that require both Board approval and approval of the General Council (full-voting members of the Federation) at its Annual General Meeting to be held on 17 July 2024.
Nominees who are interested in being considered for either of these positions are invited to submit the following documents, in confidence, to: governance@worldobesity.org
- A current photo (head and shoulders only)
- A current short biography
- A vision statement for the role you are applying for
- Up to three letters of support. A letter of support from a National Association member is also desired to advance the nomination. Please note that a National Association member may provide a letter of support to more than one of their members.
Proposed nominees must be members of the World Obesity Federation.
